Steffen Pettersen sales and marketing director Sverdrup

By combining high recycled content, responsible sourcing, and technical expertise, Green Line offers stainless steel solutions with significantly reduced environmental impact, without compromising quality or performance.

What is Green Line?

Green Line is Sverdrup Steel’s range of low-carbon stainless steel products. The materials are sourced from leading producers and stocked across our global network, ensuring reliable delivery and short lead times.

Key highlights

• Up to 85% lower CO₂ footprint than the global industry average
• ≥ 90% recycled content
• Produced using 100% renewable energy
• Independently verified by SGS (ISO 14068)

Helping customers reduce emissions

Steel production remains a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. Green Line enables customers to reduce the carbon footprint of purchased materials and support their sustainability ambitions, particularly within Scope 3 emissions.

Every delivery contributes to:

• Lower emissions across the value chain
• Stronger ESG reporting and compliance
• Progress towards sustainability targets
• Increased use of low-carbon materials

All while maintaining the strength, corrosion resistance, durability, and reliability expected from Sverdrup Steel products.

Green Line represents our vision for the future of stainless steel: circular, transparent, and lowcarbon by design. Through responsible sourcing and material expertise, we help customers make more sustainable choices, today and for the future.
