We know that delayed deliveries or incorrect material specifications can derail an entire development. That is why we have built a comprehensive support structure designed to eliminate bottlenecks before they occur. Bridging the gap between engineering requirements and supply chain execution, here is how our setup adds tangible value to your operations.
- Metallurgical Expertise: Our in-house metallurgists assist directly with material selection and corrosion management to ensure the perfect fit for your specific application.
- Global Inventory & Fast Dispatch: Access an extensive, ready-to-ship stock that secures your critical project requirements without delay.
- Full Traceability: We manage all documentation and compliance requirements from start to finish.
- Proven Offshore Experience: We are a trusted material supplier to some of the most demanding offshore developments in Norway.
Expertise in Action
We supply more than materials, we supply smarter solutions. Here is how we add value to real-world projects.
When Supply Makes All the Difference: Mongstad Refinery
When Equinor needed to replace two aging footbridges, the initial plan was painted carbon steel. Working closely with fabricator Fabtech, our metallurgists proposed a smarter alternative: lean duplex (EN 1.4362). Backed by our extensive stock, we immediately supplied over 2,000 meters of NORSOK M-120 compliant structural sections and plates. The result is a lighter, stronger, and maintenance-free solution with a reduced environmental footprint.
Pioneering Carbon Storage: Northern Lights CCS Project
As part of the Norwegian government’s Longship initiative, we supplied Aker Solutions with stainless steel plates and profiles (grade 1.4404/316L) for the Northern Lights CO2 receiving facility. Sourced from European partners, the materials feature an average recycled content of over 90%, supporting the project’s goal of minimal environmental impact. This steel plays a crucial role in the safe offshore storage of 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 annually.
Sustainable Foundations: MUNCH Museum, Oslo
The iconic MUNCH museum required a pedestrian bridge built to withstand harsh weather and climate changes for generations to come. We delivered over 10 tonnes of high-strength Duplex 1.4462, custom-cut using our in-house waterjet capabilities. Highly durable and completely maintenance-free, the material ensures a solid foundation for one of Norway’s most significant cultural landmarks.
