Stavanger is where it all started, this is where we have our largest stock and where our headquarters are located. We have a dedicated team who put their pride in providing the best service in the business. Through swift quotes and both accurate and quick execution in the service center we manage to give the shortest lead times in the stainless steel industry.
At our service center in Stavanger we stock low-alloy steel, high performance stainless steel, nickel alloys and titanium in round-bar, bored-bar, hollow-bar, and plate.
Our stock has been driven by the demand for oil and gas exploration on the harsh Norwegian continental shelf. This necessitated the development of high-performance steel grades, installations, tools, and technology. The NORSOK specification was introduced to ensure critical materials are produced satisfactorily to achieve the desired properties.
In 2018 we established Sverdrup Steel Korea Ltd. It is located in Busan Korea with intent to service existing customers in Korea and to increase our added value for our customers in their delivery of their services to the industrial projects in the area.
As well as being our gateway to the Asian and middle east market. Drastically reducing delivery time and reduction of transport cost in capacity of it geographical placement as opposed to our stocks in the north of Europe.
Sverdrup Steel Korea Ltd is being lead by our General Manager Min-young Jung, who has vast experience within the domestic Korean high performance steel market. Situated in the industrial area of Gangseo-gu, Busan. The warehouse is just over 2000 m2.
Our commitment to quality is at the core of our company. As a supplier to the Norwegian oil & Gas sector, we had the benefit of following and being in the forefront of the development of quality assurance, quality control and health and safety measurements of the Norwegian Oil-shelf.
Our quality assurance and quality control assure the standard of all materials we deliver. We are certified in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015, and make sure that our partners that supplies us with our products hold all the required certificates and approvals needed.
