• Applications

  EN 1.4460 / AISI 329 is especially suited for the manufacture of components for pumps and other equipment used in, for example, alkaline environments commonly found in the pulp and paper industry.

• Heat Treatment

  Heat Treatment – Solution annealed and quenched condition.

  Ferrite content is 55 – 75 %

  This alloy can be used in HIP products. HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressure) allows the production of complex, irregular shapes, offering advantages such as superior microstructure, cost reduction, and custom solutions.
