Every week our experienced warehouse personnel do a thorough inspection of incoming materials, and today we received more than 65 tons of Round Bars to our warehouse in Stavanger, Norway.
As part of our quality control, we have multiple checkpoints, and a few of these are to control the dimension, length, and markings, such as steel grade and heat number.
Here you can see our colleague Ørjan in action performing a control measurement of the OD before the material is moved into the correct bin location.
Each Round Bar will, after our internal inspection, get a unique barcode. The barcode containing all the data will be available in the ERP system for our sales team worldwide.
