TWO NEW GRADES IN STOCK

We recently expanded our comprehensive program to include two new alloys in solid round bars.

 

Duplex 1.4460 / AISI 329

Duplex 1.4460 / AISI 329 is especially suited for the manufacture of components for pumps and other equipment used in, for example, alkaline environments commonly found in the pulp and paper industry.

The grade is characterized by:

Good weldability✔ Good machineability ✔ Good formability ✔

We stock a complete range from OD 27 mm up to include 184 mm.

 

Alloy 825

Alloy 825 is a nickel alloy with high iron content and a copper addition, suitable for applications in special corrosive environments.

The grade is characterized by:

🔸 Very high resistance to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion

🔸 Excellent resistance to corrosion in environments containing hydrogen sulfide

🔸 Very high resistance to stress corrosion cracking

🔸 High mechanical strength

🔸 Good hot-working properties

🔸 Excellent cold forming ability

🔸 Very good machinability

🔸 Good weldability

We stock a complete range from OD 80 mm to 180 mm.
