Beware of scams within the steel industry

Sverdrup Steel has recently become aware that the names of Sverdrup Steel have been used without permission in some scam attempts.

The scammers may:

• Impersonate an officer of Sverdrup Steel
• Influence you to transfer money in the form of a bank “processing fees”
• Direct you to make payment through a 3rd party website before becoming uncontactable after payment is made

Sverdrup Steel will never require you to transfer funds to another bank account.

Kindly stay vigilant of these scams.
