Our new Sales Manager in Korea

Jay Jang has an extensive experience background. He has spent four years as an engineer working on several hull parts in Korean shipyards. He also has a diverse background from stainless steel sales. Previously Jay Jang has worked for MRC Global Korea, Corrotherm and Schulz Korea.

This means that he knows the workings of both sides of the table when it comes to offshore projects. The list of projects that the new Sales Manager Jay Jang has been involved with includes well-known names such as Ichthys, Egina, Mad Dog2 to name a few.

In addition to the offshore competence, Jay Jang has work with pressure vessel fabrication. An area the logistic set up of Sverdrup Steel Korea is well equipped to service.

We are certain that his engineering days and the jobs in the supplier market will be a strength to our Sverdrup Steel Korea team and to our customers.

On a more personal note Jay Jang is a keen traveler and has been to more than 25 different countries, including Spain, France, Taiwan, China, Japan and South America. When he’s not jet setting, he also enjoys camping with his family.
