Sverdrup K-Steel has become a hit on the scale of K-Pop

The frantic pace of the early days of the startup has just continued. Already this year Sverdrup Steel has invoiced more in 2019 than what we did  throughout 2018.

When setting up Sverdrup Steel Korea we promised to deliver a wide stock range with high volumes for our range of alloys. To uphold the level of service, quality, reliability and delivery performance that our customers has come to expect from the Sverdrup Steel group.

The reception of customers and turnover generated in such a short time really speaks for itself and is a testimony to Min-Young and his team. It is the proof that they have succeeded.

The 2500m2 stock is bursting at the seams with material. Even with a high turnover ratio.

We are very happy to be able to conclude given the results in hand with the following; that the very optimistic strategy and goals we set for Korea is being met.

In addition to the plate stock, we have added a coil stock. This means that we are now able to deliver cut to length plates enabling us to provide the same service in South East Asia. As we do for our European customers from Burg.

With this growth, our Korean branch now have more employees than what was the case when we last gave you an update in April 2018. At that time, the team consisted of three members. Today Min-Young is managing a squad of eight, as presented in the featured picture of this article.
